School Photos

Next week (7 - 11 March) we will be taking all individual, class, sport and music photographs. We use these photos for our Yearbook and they will be available for you to purchase, should you wish to do so.

Please can you ensure that your child/ren dress in their school uniform for the week. If they have a HPE class, it would be appreciated if they could please bring their kit with them as opposed to wearing it for the day.

As these photographs will be published in our Yearbook and may be purchased by members of our community, we ask learners to wear appropriate accessories, for example: simple hairbands; plain shoes etc.

Thank you all so much for all your help and we can't wait to share the photos with you.

Safe Entry

Please check your child has either the latest version of the SafeEntry app or a working token to support SafeEntry check-in each morning.

A working token should have a light flashing every minute. If it does not, it needs to be manually scanned which slows down the entry process for your child and others. Tokens work for approximately 6 months before they need replacing.

New tokens can be obtained for free from community centres; you can find the nearest one with a vending machine here.

Canvas Support- drop in sessions

From the beginning of next term, there will be a drop-in session available every week on Wednesday after school between 3:20 pm and 4:30 pm. More information on where it is held will be available closer to the beginning of next term. This session is available to help parents with any issues they might be having with Canvas, the learning management system the school is using. The session will be run by Mr Rohit, who is keen to hear feedback and any issues parents might be facing. In the meantime, if there is anything you would like help with regards to Canvas please don't hesitate to email: ict@nexus.edu.sg and we will be happy to arrange a meeting to help resolve any issues.

Y10 & Y12 Trial Examination Dates

Our IGCSEs and IB Diploma and courses programmes are two year long programmes that are assessed at the end of the two years by external examinations. In order to help prepare learners we will run trial exams in Year 10 and Year 12 to provide learners with the opportunity to bring their learning together under timed conditions and learn more about exam technique.

Y10 trial examinations will take place from Monday 4th of April to Wednesday 13th April. The Y10 trial exam timetable is here. Learners will be on Examination Leave during this period, so they do not need to be in school unless they have exams. However once on campus they must remain until the end of the final exam for the day, basically not allowed to leave in between exams. There will be an information assembly on Thursday 10th of March to provide learners with all relevant details.

Y12 trial examinations will take place from Monday 4th of April to Wednesday 13th April. The Y12 trial exam timetable is here. Learners will be on Examination Leave during this period. Year 12 learners do not need to be in school unless they have exams. Once their exams are finished they can sign out of school and do not need to remain on site. During Y12 'core' sessions learners will be provided with all the relevant details.
