Year 3 Mini Exhibition

Our recent Mini Exhibition was a combination of our Year 3 children's learning across the curriculum inquiring into 'Cultures express themselves creatively'. This was a truly transdisciplinary exploration: it was a wonderful morning during which cultures where shared through dance, song, drama, cheerleading, public speaking, different languages, art, models, using technology, food, sports, pattern and the written word. Learners shared their single subject class performances as well as their individual inquiries into their chosen culture. Congratulations to all Year 3 learners! Your breadth of understanding, your confidence in presenting your learning and your commitment during this unit was outstanding. A big 'thank you' to all parents who came to support the children!

Milkshakes for Cambodia

Andrij, Sebastian, Finlay and Ayaan from Year 3 took initiative and action by raising money to help buy resources for a school in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They sold breakfast milkshakes as learners arrived in school. Congratulations Andrij on a very well-planned out charity project.

Fruity Quartet

Our Year 6 learners have been busy again, this time providing fresh fruit snacks to the Primary and Secondary learners. Skewers filled with fruit were custom made as they used both of their snack and lunch times to provide others with their fruity feast. We hope they got to eat something themselves.

Elizabeth Cummings

Author Visit

The Year 5 and 6 learners were lucky enough to have Elizabeth Cummings, a children's author, hold writing workshops on Thursday. The learners were engaged in how to create your hero, and how your villain sometimes isn’t that bad after all. Our budding writers are sure to have the inspiration to explore their own story ideas further.
