From the Head of Primary

Welcome back to our existing learners and welcome to all our new families who have joined us across the Primary School. I always enjoy the first few days of each new term as I see parents, children and staff reaching out to new families to help them settle into the Nexus 'family'.

Just like last term, we have a busy few weeks ahead, including the frighteningly popular NPG Halloween Discos and the very special Christmas Fair and Concerts. We also have details of the 2018 Run for Hope. Many of our community take part in this fantastic event. Do sign up to join us. The 30 learners in the Primary Drama CCA will also be putting on their hilarious production of 'SuperStan', I do hope you come and join the fun. Details of all significant events are included in 'Up Coming Events'; they are also posted on our calendar along with any year group specific activities. 'Important Notices' updates you on key school information, such as ECA and CCA schedules.

Under 'Recent Events' we share wonderful photographs of previous activities. This week you will read about our UN Global Goals Week that took place this week, Deepavali, the Year 3 Festival of Arts and our clothes drive for Rohingya refugees.

Learning at Nexus is certainly crammed full of challenge, engagement, inspiration and lots of fun !

Wishing you and your families a wonderful weekend. Happy Halloween!
