From our Head of Primary
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Thank you for your continued support as we maintain our safe management measures and encourage our learners to be ready for learning at 08:20. We appreciate your understanding of the importance of the start of the school day.
Our UN Global Goals Week has been a huge success. Our four focus goals have been:
Clean Water and Sanitation
Responsible Consumption and Production
Reduced Inequalities
Quality Education
Please take a look at our 'UN Global Goals Week Across the Year Groups' tab to see what we have been doing. The focus has very much been on launching our intentions and ideas with the view to ongoing sustainable actions. I have really enjoyed seeing how some learners have been incorporating and considering our focus Global Goals through their Units of Inquiry.
One key message we've taken from Global Goals Week is the need to collaborate and work together to achieve our goals. We continually come back to the ongoing need to build and invest in our relationships with one another. The home-school relationships we strive to build are an important aspect of your child's time with us. Our restorative approach also develops this relationship-building as we seek to repair harm and move forward when difficult situations arise.
Please take all opportunities to talk with your child about their learning and experiences at school. Despite us not being able to welcome you onto campus at the moment, I know all our teachers are looking forward to the opportunity to virtually meet you next week at our Parent Teacher Conferences. If you haven't booked your slot, please log on to the Parent Portal to book an appointment with your child’s homeroom teacher.
Finally, I'd like to wish a Happy Mid Autumn Festival to all our families who are celebrating next week. 愿明月与你常相伴,照亮你的健康和幸福的生活。
Warm regards,
Ms Fiona
Head of Primary
