Dress Up Day - Thursday, 10 June
Term 4 ends - Friday, 11 June (school finishes at noon)
The end of the year is fast approaching and it is time to plan the return of your library books.
If our learners are able to be back on campus in the last week of term, please ensure your child returns all borrowed library books.
In case Off-Campus Learning continues to the end of the academic year, all learners returning for 2021-2022 will have library books automatically renewed until the start of the new school year. However, if you wish to return them please drop them off at the security guardhouse at the front of the school.
We thank you for your understanding and value the support you have given us this year.
The Library Team
Due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions, we have had to stop all CCAs. If your child was attending a CCA run by external provider (e.g Fun Science, Lego Robotics, Race Car Engineering, Ballet, etc) please fill in this refund form and send it to Hayley at eotc@nexus.edu.sg and we will process a refund of the fees for the remaining sessions that will not run. Please be patient with us during this time, as we expect an influx of refund forms to come in, and we will process them in bulk.
Thank you so much for your immense patience and flexibility with us during this time. We definitely could not have run CCAs for (almost) the whole year without your support!
As the number of community covid-19 cases has increased and restrictions are back in place, please may we ask that there are no card/gift-exchanges between any learners in school. If parents are considering gifts for staff, please may we ask that you consider an online ‘token’ instead. Thank you for your understanding.
Please may we remind all families that at school learners are expected to wear masks at all times while on campus (except when eating/drinking), including along the walkways.
We are noticing that a number of learners have masks that do not fit securely. This is particualrly true of the reuseable masks, where the elastic ear straps or the wire nose bridge become loose over time.
Please may you check your child's masks fit securely and remind them of the importance of wearing their masks properly at all times.
The CIS (Council of International Schools) Survey is here!
The survey was developed in alignment with the new CIS International Accreditation protocol. Admin teams, academic teams, board directors, parents and learners will all be invited to take the survey. This is an essential part of our self-study on the CIS journey. The data will be used by the various domain self-study groups as evidence. Please take some time to complete this - your feedback matters!
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available until Monday 31 May.
Here is the link to the CIS Survey
A few things to note:
1. All questions need to be answered.
2. The language can be chosen from the top right corner.
3. Please pay attention when answering, as answers go from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree, being "Not applicable" the last option.
4. The survey can be saved at any given time. You just need to press the "save and continue later" on the top right of the screen. For this, you will need to enter your email addresses, and the survey will send you an email with a link to be able to continue the survey at a later time.
