Newtown Public Schools uses SchoolMessenger notification system to connect with parents, students, and community members!
SchoolMessenger will be used for regular district communications, as well as to alert parents and guardians of school closings and emergencies. SchoolMessenger can send emails, text messages, and make telephone calls, allowing us to connect with the NPS community like never before!
The district uses PowerSchool contact information to establish our contact lists, so please be sure that information in your parent protal is up-to-date. Uploads are made regularly to the SchoolMessenger system, keeping the information as up-to-date as possible.
To update your contact information, including cell phone numbers for text messages, log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal and update your information.
