Algebra Foundations 1

3010 - College Prep B

This course accommodates those students whose organizational skills and basic mathematical skills need reinforcement. Algebra 1 topics will be covered over a three year time span with this course being the first of the three courses. Topics include: properties of Algebra, linear equations, inequalities and their applications, and relations and linear functions. Problem solving techniques relating algebra to real world applications and standardized test preparation are incorporated throughout the course. Regular and frequent access to a graphing calculator for class activities as well as homework is required.

3012 - College Prep B

This course accommodates those students whose organizational skills and basic mathematical skills need reinforcement. This course will cover additional Algebra 1 topics. Topics include: solving and graphing linear functions and inequalities, systems of linear equations and inequalities, properties of exponents, graphing exponential. Problem solving techniques relating algebra to real world applications and standardized test preparation are incorporated throughout the course. Regular and frequent access to a graphing calculator for class activities as well as homework is required.

Algebra Foundations 3

3002 - College Prep B

This course accommodates those students whose organizational skills and basic mathematical skills need reinforcement.This course will cover additional Algebra I and some Algebra 2 topics. Topics include: quadratics, functions, domain and range, and systems of equations. Problem solving techniques relating algebra to real world applications and standardized test preparation are incorporated throughout the course. Regular and frequent access to a graphing calculator for class activities as well as homework is required.
