Take a trip to the Pennsylvanian

Take a jungle safari tour!

Come visit the Pennsylvanian period which is one part of the Carboniferous Era about 300 million years ago. You will see many things that are much different from the environments we see today. Surprising sights such as giant insects, giant amphibians, and huge trees are among the many things to see in the Pennsylvanian age.

Looking for an experience you won't forget?! Try strapping your feet onto the giant millipedes and let them do the walking!

During the carboniferous era there was a lot more oxygen in the air than there is now. So in contrast to insects we see today which are usually only inches in length, the insects were able to grow to astonishing lengths. There have been fossils found of dragonflies the size of large birds and centipedes that were up to six feet long!

Go on a bug hunting expedition!

Super Sized Animals!

Everything is bigger in the carboniferous time period. From dragonflies to amphibians to trees, the increased oxygen let some organisms grow to unlimited sizes.

Don't forget to pack your bags!

On this Pennsylvanian tour we recommend you pack certain items to keep you safe and comfortable.

The weather is much warmer and humid so pack clothes like shorts and t-shirts.

With so many bugs around, consider bringing jumbo sized bug spray!
