Mr. Wall, a native of Forest, is a graduate of Scott Central High School and holds an Associate’s of Arts degree from East Central Community College, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business from Mississippi State University, and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree from Belhaven University.  Mr. Wall began his teaching career at Morton High School and has been an educator for Newton County High School for the past 20 years, where he has taught high school English classes and served as Beta Club Sponsor and Yearbook Adviser.  Currently, he is the High School Library-Media Specialist and sponsors the Student Council.  Mr. Wall’s honors as an educator have included STAR Teacher, MHS Teacher of the Year, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and the Mississippi Professional Educators Association (MPEA).  He is an adjunct staff member for East Central Community College, where he is an English tutor in the Student Success Center. In addition, he tutors ELA students at Newton County Schools' after school program, "Cougar Connection." Mr. Wall also has over 20 years experience in retail sales and merchandising for American Eagle Outfitters as a certified stylist. 

Mr. Wall resides in Decatur.  He enjoys art, music, reading, the beach, and keeping up with his nieces and nephew. He is a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake, where he has served as Congregational Worship Leader for over 20 years.
