Mr. Wall, a native of Forest, is a graduate of Scott Central High School and holds an Associate’s of Arts degree from East Central Community College, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business from Mississippi State University, and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree from Belhaven University.  Mr. Wall began his teaching career at Morton High School and has been an educator for Newton County High School for the past 21 years, where he has taught high school English classes.  He served as Beta Club Sponsor, leading members to various first place finishes in talent, art, and scholastics with top ten places at Nationals. He also stewarded the NCHS Yearbook Staff to its first two consecutive National Gallery of Excellence Awards. Currently, he is the High School Library-Media Specialist and sponsors the Student Council.  Mr. Wall’s honors as an educator have included STAR Teacher, Teacher of the Year, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and the Mississippi Professional Educators Association (MPEA).  He is an adjunct staff member for East Central Community College, where he is an English tutor in the Student Success Center and has also taught art for EC's Kids College program in the summer.  In addition, he tutors students for the ACT at Newton County Schools' after school program, "Cougar Connection." Mr. Wall also has over 20 years experience in retail sales and merchandising for American Eagle Outfitters as a certified stylist and has represented E-Models talent agency. 

Mr. Wall resides in Decatur.  He enjoys art, music, reading, the beach, and keeping up with his nieces and nephew. He is a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake, where he has just completed 25-years of service as Congregational Worship Leader. Mr. Wall believes that reading is truly a gateway skill that makes all other learning possible with a favorite quote being, "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies...The man who never reads, lives only one" by George R.R. Martin.
