Taking the Advanced Placement (AP) exam is an important part of all AP courses. Newton South High School expects that all students enrolled in an AP class will register for and take the AP exam. Scoring well on an AP exam can often help students earn college credit. Registration is open.

The DEADLINE to complete BOTH REGISTRATION STEPS is November 9, 2024. 

Registration will remain open until March 7, 2025. 

However there is a $40 late fee per exam starting November 10th, per the College Board. See the Exam Registration page for detailed information.

NSHS does not allow outside testing, unless the student is a resident of Newton.
