A Teacher permission form to attend college visits is required if you will miss a class. If a visit is during WIN, a free block or a canceled class, a permission form is not required.

Are you interested in attending a U.S. Service Academy?
The Service Academy Nomination application for Congressman Jake Auchincloss’ office is open until October 20th, 2023. This information is for current Seniors who are interested in attending a United States Service Academy. This information is only applicable for students who reside in the Massachusetts 4th Congressional district.
Students hoping to attend a United States Service Academy (US Military Academy at West Point; US Naval Academy; US Air Force Academy; US Merchant Marine Academy) are required to obtain a nomination from their Member of Congress or other sources if they wish to receive an appointment to the Academy. Typically, Congressman Auchincloss may nominate up to ten individuals per Academy each year. Please note that the United States Coast Guard Academy does not require a nomination.
Please see the below list of documents students must submit to the Newton District Office to be considered for a nomination to one of the US Service Academies. The deadline to submit these documents is October 20th, 2023. No late submissions will be accepted.
