College Testing
SAT/ACT Registration Information
Email Ms Sabet if you qualify to receive an SAT or ACT fee waiver code.
~~~~~~~~~~~
The College Board has announced that registration is "live" for the March, May, and June Weekend SAT. Newton South is a test center for all three of these test dates, but it is important to note that seats for the test administration are available to anyone looking to register for the SAT, regardless of what school they attend or what town they reside in. If you are planning to take the SAT and hope to test at Newton South, we advise you complete your registration sooner than later.
If you have questions about the SAT program in general, you can find answers to all of your questions on The College Board website. You may also access an approximate timeline suggested for students in the Class of 2025 anticipating applying to four year colleges during their senior year. Members of the Class of 2025 who plan to take an SAT and submit scores to colleges will typically register for one (or sometimes two) of the spring test dates.
As always, please reach out to Ms. Sabet in the College & Career Center or to your student's School Counselor if you have any questions.
