- Encyclopedia Britannica
- Kids InfoBits (search engine for school research)
- US History in Context
- Gale Research in Context (slightly more advanced search engine for school research)
- Digital History (looks old-fashioned but has a lot of good info)
- Destiny Discover (Make sure you're on the "Open Educational Resources" tab)
- History Channel (used to be better than it is now, but can still be a good starting place.)
- Bigelow Library TKAM Research Page
Slightly More Advanced Research Sources:
Very Difficult/Advanced Research Sources:
- The Library of Congress
- The Digital Public Library of America (lots of primary sources, not a ton of grade-level reading)
- JSTOR (largely college-level reading, but now has lots of free materials it didn't have before)
Better for Images than Information:
- The Smithsonian
- The National Archives
