Homework will be added to the calendar below daily. If additional information is required to complete any assignment, it will be written here. Please contact me with any questions.

Week of May 28th:

• Due 6/6/19: Continue working on TKAM Paper. Tomorrow you should be working on your intro and conclusion, so try to finish up your body paragraphs tonight.
• Due 6/6/19: Work on TKAM Paper -- due printed out in class Thursday the 6th! (Specifically, work on anything I told you you needed to work on during class today-- thesis, picking quotes, etc.)

Week of May 20th:

• Due Wed. 3/20/19: Finish and practice/film Raisin scenes. All groups must be ready to perform on 3/20, but any groups who would like to go early can go on 3/18.
• Due Wed. 3/14/19: Work on your Raisin scripts. Rough draft due Wednesday the 14th in class!

Week of February 4th:

• Due Thurs. 2/14/19: Work on your IRP presentation. Be prepared to turn in your materials on the 14th whether you're presenting on the 14th or the 15th.

Week of October 29th:

• Ongoing: Work on your Independent Reading Project. Book should be read by this Thursday, November 1st. Speech, award, and reflections should be completed and ready to be handed in on next Wednesday, November 7th.

Week of October 22nd:

• Ongoing: Work on your Independent Reading Project. Book should be read by November 1st.

Week of October 15th:

• Ongoing: Work on your Independent Reading Project. Book should be read by November 1st, so you should be around halfway done by tomorrow (10/19).

Week of October 9th:

• Due Mon. 10/15/18: Be prepared for a reading check-in on your Independent Reading Project
• ADL Students 10/11/18:
  • Section 1& 2: Read up to p.24, right before the "Seven Commandments"
  • Section 3: Read up to p.23, about halfway down ("The animals had...")
  • Section 4: Read up to the end of the first sentence on p.24
    • All sections: ...and get the Character Chart notes from a classmate
• Due Thurs. 11/1/18: Have your Independent Book Project book read in its entirety
• Due Fri. 10/12/18: Get sticky notes to bring to class for note-taking

Week of October 1st:

• Due Thurs. 10/4/18: Have your Independent Book Project book chosen and reported/checked

Week of September 24th:

• Due Fri. 9/28/18: Read through the independent book project packet and bring in any questions for tomorrow and Monday
  • If you want a personal copy of Animal Farm, purchase it by next week
• Due Wed. 9/26/18: Read up to the bullet point on p.255 in A Refuge

Week of September 17th:

• Due Fri. 9/21/18: Finish reading Sol Painting if necessary. Compare and contrast the parents from Sometimes a Dream Needs a Push and Sol Painting. Which parents are more supportive of their children? Why? (handwritten or typed, a paragraph or more)

Week of September 4th:

• Due Tues. 9/11/18: Bring in supplies (spiral notebook or loose-leaf paper, folder or binder section, post-it notes, writing utensils) for class by this date
• Due Wednesday. 9/5/18: Take home the parent/guardian letter given to you in class today and read it over with your parent(s) or guardian(s). Be prepared with one written question or observation to share in class.
