Despite being incredibly flammable, ethanol is very stable, even under fire conditions; Although this is most likely a result of standardized descriptions not being applicable to every chemical, it is still a funny contradiction.

It is important to know that isopropyl ethanol is not healthy to consume and is used as a disinfectant in medical settings more often.
