Group 6: The Arts

The Arts subjects allow for a high degree of adaptability to different cultural contexts. The emphasis is on creativity in the context of practical and disciplined research within the relevant genres.

Furthermore, all subjects have been designed to encourage critical, reflective and informed practice, to help students understand the dynamic and changing nature of the arts, to explore the diversity of the arts across time, space and cultures, and to express themselves with confidence and competence.
