Several examples of Concept Maps
Below, this is an example of using a map to show an organizational structure that goes from general to specific. Teachers might give this as an instruction: "Arrange the labels so that you have the most general at the top, and the most specific at the bottom."
This example does not show a hierarchy, though plants are clearly the central idea.
