Assessment Resources for Faculty

Support is available to assist faculty at every stage of the student learning assessment process and includes technical, logistical and reporting support for assessment, allowing faculty to focus on student learning rather than administrative or technical work.  

Guidance and consultation available for faculty:

• • • Design research projects that help faculty answer questions about student learning in their course or program

    • Write measurable learning outcomes that frame and focus student learning

    • Complete a curriculum map that aligns learning outcomes, learning opportunities and assessments

    • Create an assessment plan 

    • Create rubrics that align with the learning outcomes for assessment

    • Develop student, alumni, and faculty surveys addressing the learning environment

    • Interpret student learning assessment data and other course or program data

Technical and logistical support available for faculty:

• • • Design, create and administer surveys 

    • Manage the logistics of collecting student learning assessment data 

    • Analyze and visualize survey and student learning assessment data

    • Interpret data and report findings
