After moving to NYC in 2006 (and after a bit of traveling and language study) I came to teaching English as a second language, which I studied at NYU and Hunter College, where I earned my MA in TESOL.

After graduating in philosophy in Ukraine, I came to the New School for Social Research in 2019 to write a dissertation in political theory.

After obtaining my BFA in Film and Video from the Maryland Institute College of Art, I pursued political theory and mass psychology from a film theory angle. I'm now a second-year graduate student at the New School for Social Research. I live upstate in Westchester County with my fiancé and our dog Eugene.

I did my undergrad in Philosophy at The University of Iceland with an Erasmus exchange year in Prague. I'm currently on my second year of MA in Philosophy at the New School For Social Research. My research intereests include embodiement and language, phenomenology and Æsthetics, and Nature.

I am a third-year PhD student in Politics at NSSR. Before coming to the New School I did my undergrad and MA in Political Science and worked as an Event Manager for five years. My subfields are Political Economy and Political Theory and I am particularly interested in the infrastructural space-making in landscapes of shale oil and gas fracking, and what kind of future we have among them.
