Event Promotion
Once an event is approved, it will be posted on the Lang Event Hub. Then it will be included in the Nerdy Lang News which is published weekly on Fridays. From there it will be included in social media (Instagram and Twitter) promotion leading up to the event.

Why should events be submitted 4-weeks in advance?
Event request form submitted
Event subject to review
Logistics confirmed (Zoom link created/space booking, Events IT, facilities, catering etc.)
Event published to event calendar(s) (event reminder emails scheduled)
Event included in Nerdy Lang News (internal and external)
Event promoted on social media

Sharing News & Spotlights
The best way to share work or spotlight a community member, is to complete the Lang News and Spotlights Form. This form is utilized by Lang Dean's Office communication staff and the university's Marketing and Communications divisions. Student work (research and creative projects, senior captions etc.) can be submitted to the Lang Student Work Form. Students who have completed an Engaged Learning Opportunity, can submit required summaries using the Engaged Learning Report.
