Fall 2021 Session Schedule, Start and End Dates

Fall ESL+ Certificate program will start on Monday, September 13th, 2021 and end on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.


Fall 2021 will include in-person sessions on Friday; sttudents may study in New York City or from your home country.


Monday | 9 -11:30 AM EST - Grammar of English

Tuesday | 9 -11:30 AM EST - Academic Writing

Wednesday | 9 -11:30 AM EST - Listening and Speaking

Thursday | 9 -11:30 AM EST - Reading and Vocabulary

Friday | 12:10 -2:40 PM EST - In-Person Live Class (Required for NYC-based students with I-20, more details will follow)


Summer 2021 Session: Format, Schedule, Registration

Summer session in 2021 will be online. The semester will run from June 7, 2021 to August 13, 2021. The summer class schedule is below:


Grammar - Mondays 9-11:30am EST

Writing - Tuesday 9-11:30am EST

Listening/Speaking - Wednesdays 9-11:30am EST

Reading - Thursdays 9-11:30am EST

Schedule for Online Weekly Class Meetings (synchronous)

GRAMMAR - Mondays
8am - 10:30am (Jan 25 - Mar 15) / 9am -11:30am (Mar 15 - Apr 29)

WRITING - Tuesdays
8am - 10:30am (Jan 25 - Mar 15) / 9am -11:30am (Mar 15 - Apr 29)

LISTENING / SPEAKING - Wednesdays
8am - 10:30am (Jan 25 - Mar 15) / 9am -11:30am (Mar 15 - Apr 29)

READING - Thursdays
8am - 10:30am (Jan 25 - Mar 15) / 9am -11:30am (Mar 15 - Apr 29)

In addition to the weekday morning synchronous time slot, the class will consist of a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, including:

· Carefully designed assignments with exciting materials for students to watch, read, write about, etc, with teachers available to help

· Individualized feedback on your speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar

· Video conferences one-on-one or in small groups

· Communication with your teachers throughout the course whenever you need help or have a question

Information on COVID-19
