Commonsense Media is a great place to check out the books your child is reading. We have a lot of requests for books in our libraries and try to find books our students want to read. I have not read every single one. Every kid and every family is different, each with their own set of family values. Make sure the books your child is choosing align with your family values. If you would rather provide your own reading material from home for your child, that is fine too. If you have specific concerns, let me know and I'll do my best to help monitor your child's choices. Your child will need to have a book in their possession at all times. If you send one from home, put your name in it.
