All About Mrs. Bulson

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Erin Bulson and this will be my 15th year teaching at Lenape Elementary School. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of teaching 3rd through 5th grade. I attended college at S.U.N.Y Plattsburgh where I received a degree in Childhood Education (1-6) and Special Education (1-6). Afterwards, I taught for a private school in Millbrook while working towards a Masters degree in Literacy at S.U.N.Y New Paltz.

I live with my husband Rob and two daughters in Wallkill. Mikaela will be in 6th grade and Carlie will be starting second. We love spending time outdoors, especially going on long family walks. We also enjoy playing board games, working on arts and crafts, and visiting family and friends.

We have a Goldendoodle named Rocky. He is super adorable, but loves to get into mischief! Rocky loves chasing our feet when we have family dance parties. He keeps us very busy!

I always knew I would be a teacher and have greatly enjoyed my teaching career at New Paltz. This is a wonderful community! My hope is that the students in our classroom build confidence and a love of learning. Together we want to encourage and engage students in activities that foster independence, creativity, and critical thinking. I can’t wait to begin this year learning with all of you!
