*We ask students to reread to ensure their story makes sense and add more details.

Episode 7: Editing

*We break this down into the parts shown over a few days and encourage children to use resources, such as a sight word list, phonics supports, or anchor charts to support them. They DO NOT have to spell all words accurately, they just need to do THEIR best.

Episode 8: Publishing

*Rewriting their work can be ver difficult and frustrating for many first grade students. If they want to, that's great! But if not, they can just create a cover and add details to their pictures to publish. Typing your child's final product for them is always an option.
