Language

Language can cover so many things! In class we learn where words came from, how they got their meaning and how words change over time. We also tell a lot of jokes because to understand jokes you need to know a great deal of language! Words have different meanings and that is why jokes are so funny. Tell jokes to your child and have them tell you some as well. Discuss why they are funny and what word made it laughable.
