Robert “Bob” Enstrom appreciates the classics from such giants as Dumas, Tolstoy, and Blackmore as much as he does the speculative work of Clark, Niven, Cherryh, and Herbert. Believing that an understanding of humanity and history are integral to crafting meaningful prose, Bob spends his free time delving into subjects as diverse as the French Revolution, economics, the Middle Ages, and astrophysics … when he isn’t playing Baldur’s Gate.
Bob studied geology and chemistry in college and spent a year as an industrial chemist. He writes about imaginary futures with honesty, optimism, and refreshing decency. His greatest pleasure is the summer desert. “Nothing else is as clean, straightforward, and demanding of respect.” He resides in Julian, California.
