After rendering the beeswax we had to grate it so that we could sprinkle the wax on when we wanted to make the actual wraps.
We (well really not 'we'; sadly someone else -who we will not name and shame- decided that it looked "tempting to punch" so they did without asking us and we didn't get the satisfaction of it. Luckily we got to do it the next time) broke the wax into smaller pieces so we could grate it easier.
At first we used a small, handheld grater that Annabelle bought at Kmart for $2, but it was too small and too difficult to use so Whaea Leanne found us a bigger, four-sided one. It was much better at grating and multiple people could grate at the same time.
After we finished grating we were ready to start making the wraps. It looked so much like we were grating cheese so we even fooled a lot of people into eating some. It felt so cool to run your hand through. We had a lot of wax and it nearly filled the whole container!
