Principal’s Pledge

It is my honor and privilege to serve as your school leader! I look forward to working collaboratively with eah member of our school team. I pledge to be a Social Justice Leader focusing on meeting the diverse needs of our school community members to positively impact student achievement. Together we will achieve here at our wonderful school, PS 399 Stanley Eugene Clark, also lovingly known Shine Shine 399!

I pledge to put students first.

I will work collaboratively with teacher & educational assistant leaders to strengthen our instructional core (curriculum, pedagogy, assessment) to meet the diverse needs of our student population to accelerate student learning.

I pledge to empower students, families, and staff.

I will foster a positive school environment to build school capacity and competencies in Social Emotional and Academic Learning resulting in culturally- responsive school communities that develop well rounded students.

I pledge to strengthen teacher professional growth.

I will facilitate professional learning for teachers & educational assistant leaders based on our data inquiry cycles that emphasizes teaching and learning for all.

I pledge to celebrate our successes both big and small across our school community.

I will support the individual gifts and talents that each of us possess and will explore different ways to address our data to meet the social emotional and academic needs of our students, families, and each staff member.

I pledge to deepen our family engagement and empowerment efforts.

I will work with our family support team to determine how to best support our families to help our students achieve at the highest levels.
