Hello all, This is my fifth year teaching and my first year teaching 5th grade. Maybe most of you know me; my name is Miss. Perez. I have taught at NCS in the past. This past year I taught Math in China and traveled around Asia. Teaching and traveling are my greatest passions. Currently, I am also attending graduate school full-time at the University of Minnesota. I love what I do, and try to be the best teacher that I can be. In return, I expect my students to give me 100% of their effort so that we can achieve great accomplishments in my class. I believe in high expectations, having a positive mindset, and becoming the best version of yourself. I have one rule in my class and that is "Be the best student you can be everyday in class."
Our Online Platforms
Our main Platform is Google Classroom. Students will see announcements, agendas for the day, Small group times, and many of their assignments there. Please note that not all of their assignments on are on Google Classroom. We also use Seesaw. Our students have the benefits of being able to use both platforms and they work hand in hand together for a great classroom environment.
