ARTICLE XIV. DURATION/REOPENERS

1. This Agreement shall remain in effect from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. Upon expiration, it shall continue in effect year-to-year thereafter unless either party provides written notice of its desire to modify or terminate the Agreement no later than April 30 of the final year of the term.

2. For the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years, the parties agree that salary and fringe benefits and one (1) additional article of each party’s choice may be reopened for negotiations. Nothing herein limits the parties’ reopener negotiations if both parties agree to open additional articles in any given year. The entire contract may be opened for negotiations during the 2028-29 successor.

It is agreed that CSEA and NESD will work together to clean-up formatting and unclear language of the CSEA Contract by mutual agreement.
