You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown – New Caney High School
Based on the beloved Peanuts comic strip, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the gang to life in a charming and heartfelt musical. Through a series of vignettes, the show captures the humor, optimism, and everyday struggles of growing up, reminding audiences that even life’s small moments can be meaningful.
Into the Woods – West Fork High School
Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods weaves together classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk into one magical—and thought-provoking—journey. As the characters venture into the woods to pursue their wishes, the story explores the consequences of choices, the cost of happily ever after, and what it truly means to grow up.
Chicago – Porter High School
Set in the roaring 1920s, Chicago is a bold, jazzy musical that tells the story of fame, fortune, and justice in the criminal underworld. With iconic music, sharp satire, and high-energy choreography, the show follows Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly as they navigate scandal and celebrity, proving that in the world of Chicago, perception is everything.
