Artists in kindergarten discussed the work of Vincent Van Gogh. Artists chose their art tools to help them reimagine and recreate Van Gogh's Sunflowers painting.

Vincent van Gogh is one of the most well-known post-impressionist artists but did not find fame for his work until after he died. He painted over 900 paintings in his lifetime!
WHAT DID WE ANALYZE?
While Starry Night is one of Van Gogh's most popular paintings, we learned that he actually viewed the painting as a failure!
The artists in Kindergarten observed the swirly lines, the use of the primary colors, the tree, and hilltops. Many kindergarten artists felt calm as they observed the painting.

To begin, decide which art tools you'll be using
Re-create Van Gogh's Sunflower painting as uniquely as you can imagine - this may go beyond paper and paint! - one artist came up with a poem!
