HelperBird is a Chrome Extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/helperbird-accessibility/ahmapmilbkfamljbpgphfndeemhnajme/related) that has a lot of accessibility features but is full of many other features to aid in reading online.

  • Here is a partial list of the features you will find in HelperBird but you can find the full list and some other resources on their site: https://www.helperbird.com/

    • Dyslexia Support - use specialized web fonts for dyslexia and other reading issues. Use OpenDyslexic, Arial, Comic Sans and also change the size of the font on the page. Use the Dyslexia Ruler to highlight one row of text at a time.
