Grant Opportunities

Nevada R-5 School District staff and faculty are eligible to apply for classroom grants that are administered by the Nevada R-5 Foundation as a result of the generosity of donors who designate their gifts to the fund. Classroom grants are to be used for special projects to advance educational opportunities for Nevada R-5 students. Projects must be above and beyond the allocated budget for the specified area.

NOTE: BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS FORM, PLEASE EMAIL nr5foundation@nevada.k12.mo.us TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE CURRENT AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Those submitting grant requests must also confirm with their building administrator that the project in question cannot be funded from the building's current budget.

Classroom Grants

Classroom grants can be used to enhance the educational experience of Nevada R-5 students within the classroom setting. This could include but is not limited to supplies, technology enhancements, field trip grants, and other activities.

Activity Grants

Activity grants can be used to enhance the extra-curricular experience of our Nevada R-5 students outside the classroom. This could include but is not limited to: new supplies and materials, funds for trips and activities, and other needs for a well-rounded extra-curricular experience.
