February 2025
Paul and I met through my last corporate job. When he found out I had left and become a coach, he immediately said, "I need your help! I need to sell these cars before my wife leaves me! I cannot seem to finish anything. I want to be a finisher!"
He had left a position with a leading producer of automotive how-to television shows to follow his passion for designing and building custom Broncos and to find balance between work, family, and his values.
Outwardly, he was a high-achieving, organized go-getter. Inside, he was falling apart.
His life was full of:
Shame from lack of follow-through due to boredom and procrastination, leading to disappointment and shame.
Relationship frustrations from not communicating or listening actively to others.
Failure to balance life as an entrepreneur, a father (soon to be grandfather), a husband, and his health.
No time management due to people pleasing. He let others' intentions pull him off course, never knowing how to say "no."
Scattered and overthinking everything slowed productivity and affected how he showed up everywhere.
Being out of control and overwhelmed left him stuck in a pinball-like state.
He communicates with confidence, leveraging cognitive processing strengths to communicate more effectively, allowing him to confidently transition from a failing partnership instead of impulsively dropping it.
Clear work-life separation is now ingrained, allowing for distinct shifts in roles and responsibilities and increased follow-through.
Improved clarity and focus gave way to a winning business model with a new partner who complements his neurodivergent brain, making the life balance automatic.
Accelerated progress from bleeding money to making more than forecasted for the entire year of 2026 within six months of fully launching his 3rd model.
Successfully delegating, he's growing his team with others who sync well with the brains on board.
Strengthened relationships - he now shows up for his family. His wife says coaching has changed their lives.
He is calm and in control instead of feeling like a pinball; everyone is looking to him for clear, calm, and collected action instead of hot-headed reaction.
This is what happened within two months (four sessions) and asynchronous coaching:
