Bigo Family

A Bigo family is a group of users on Bigo that are grouped. Families are under the leadership of the families you can identify who belongs to which family by the custom badge that is displayed on a user’s profile.

Founders can name a family whatever they like as long as it is within our guidelines. Users can join a family by going to the family leaderboard and requesting to join. Each family may have different criteria in order to join their family, such as a minimum amount of diamonds sent, being a certain level or having a certain amount of fans.

Family members are expected to support their family members, especially during PKs. Certain gifts are specifically designed to be sent to your family members these gifts can be found under the family prestige section in the gifts.

Family Members

A family is a special group formed by members without a Bigo family. The family consists of a family leader, family admin, SVIPs, hosts and normal users.

Family is not an Agency and a leader can only open one agency and one family at the same time.

Family Leader Board

Once your Family is established, you will be enrolled in a Family leaderboard known as, Family Prestige.

Families rise in rank based on the total Family participation on the platform. Families at the top of the leaderboard earn additional monetary rewards!

What is Family Prestige?

Family Prestige is a regular event in Bigo Live. The Family Prestige event is divided into regional Family Prestige and global Family Prestige;

Both regional and global Family Prestige have three rankings based on the calculation of different types of data, such as combat points, gift received, and gift sending.

Regional Family Prestige will be held monthly and global will be held quarterly.

How to Get Combat Points?

The ranking of Family Prestige is based on the combat points. Here are some ways to get combat points:

Top Up 1 diamonds within your family=1 point;

Sending or receiving family gifts: 1 bean=1 point

What rankings can I get from for the Family Prestige?

We will send out family prestige ranking rewards based on combat points and the ranking of the family.

How to Join A Family?

All users can apply to join Family by clicking the ‘Family Prestige’ banner in Bigo live app.

How to Invite Friends to Join Your Family

All family members can invite friends to join the family by sending the invitation, and the invited person can click the message to apply.

➡ Click ‘Invite Friends’ in the ‘My Family’ page -> Select Friends and Click the Button ‘invite’ -> Your Friend Will Receive an Invitation Message.

How to Change Family Leader

Only Family leaders are able to change leaders, please contact your family group for help.

How to add family members

You may invite friends into your family. The family has a limitation on its members depending on the family level. You have to achieve the task of family prestige to upgrade your family. After that, you are only able to add more family members. You may also request by bulk add in new members through the SVIP interface.
