Dr. sc. Ivan Jajić asistent je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu na Katedri za informatiku. Sveučilišni prijediplomski studij na engleskom jeziku “Bachelor Degree in Business” (2016.) završio je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, a diplomirao je (2017.) Financijski menadžment na School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Nizozemska. Godine 2024. doktorirao je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu obranivši disertaciju pod naslovom »Internetska kupovina potrošačke elektronike tijekom pandemije bolesti COVID-19«. Izvodi seminarsku nastavu na Sveučilišnom integriranom prijediplomskom i diplomskom studiju, na Stručnom diplomskom studiju Menadžment digitalnog poslovanja te na Stručnom diplomskom studiju Digitalni marketing na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
Uža područja znanstvenog interesa su mu digitalne ekonomije, drisruptivne tehnologije i podatkovne znanosti. Sudjeluje na međunarodnim konferencijama kao izlagač i recenzent.
Dobitnik je godišnje nagrade “Društva sveučilišnih nastavnika i drugih znanstvenika u Zagrebu” 2022. godine za znanstveni rad „Deployment of the Microeconomic Consumer Theory in the Artificial Neural Networks Modelling: Case of Organic Food“.
