CHONG Lawrence, Group CEO of Consulus and Two Time TEDx Speaker
Lawrence Chong serves as the Group CEO of Consulus and MD for DesignFutures Venture. A 2 Time TEDx speaker and global keynote speaker on innovation and design. Since 2020 he was appointed by Pope Francis to serve on the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue.
Consulus is a global change by design firm serving persons, companies, and cities in their transfiguration for an Economy of Communion. Funded in Singapore in 2004, Consulus’s work and presence is in 23 nations from the Americas, Asia, and Europe. A global speaker, he has spoken at conferences such as Innovation by Design, World Marketing Summit, TEDx and in 30 cities such as Sao Paolo, Melbourne on innovation, business design, and the Economy of Communion.
Keynote speech 1: Judicial Independence in Liberal Democracy
RODIN Siniša, PhD, Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union
Professor Siniša Rodin is Full Professor at the Department of European Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University in Zagreb. Since July 1, 2013 Siniša Rodin serves as a Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Prof. Siniša Rodin earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law, Croatia in 1995, and his LL.M. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1992. He specialized European Law at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, and German Constitutional Law at the Max-Planck Institut für ausländisches öeffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht in Heidelberg, Germany. Prof. Rodin’s scientific interest includes issues of constitutional interpretation, fundamental rights and constitutional aspects of European integration. His research also focuses free movement of services. He is member of editorial board of Croatian Yearbook of European Law & Policy and Zeitschrift für Öffentliches Recht. He is member of UACES and FIDE.

Professor Olesea Plotnic is university professor within “Private Law” Department of the Law Faculty, Moldova State University, specializing in Business Law and Consumer Law. She has a lawyer’s license and she is a CEDR mediator and arbitrator. She has more than 18 years of experience in the field of law and she teaches in English, French and Russian
Tatia Dolidze is an Assistant Professor and a Department Head at the International Relations Bachelors programme of the European University, Tbilisi, Georgia. Furthermore, since 2015 Ms. Dolidze has held the position of an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia, Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the Caucasus University teaching BA and MA courses in the direction of European Studies, while she has also worked as a trainer in public speaking for different educational establishments. She has been pursuing her PhD in European Studies at the Institute of European Studies at TSU, during which she spent a year at the Masaryk University in Brno.

SZARUCKI Marek, PhD
Marek SZARUCKI, PhD is an associate professor and head of the Department of Strategic Analysis at the Krakow University of Economics (Poland). His scientific interests concentrate on the methodology of management sciences, strategic management, entrepreneurship in Eastern and Central Europe, and innovations management. He is an author and co-author of peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters and a member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals: Journal of Entrepreneurial Business and Economics Review, Business: Theory and Practice, Journal of Business, Management and Education, and Journal of Business Excellence. His international background includes studies, study trips, summer schools, international conferences, and cooperation with universities in Lithuania, Croatia, Russia, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Taiwan. He is also a member of the European Academy of Management and the Academy of Management.
Domagoj Sajter, PhD is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, the Department of Finance and Accounting. He has published over 130 scientific, professional, and popular papers. He is a member of the Scientific Field Committee for the area of social sciences, the field of economics. He is also the head of the postgraduate specialist study of Finance and Banking and an expert associate of the Croatian translation departments at the European Commission. More recently, he has focused his research interest on blockchain technology and decentralized finance.

Maggie Farrell is the Dean of Libraries at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA, serving over 31,000 students in a diverse and energetic community. Previously, Maggie was the Dean of Libraries at Clemson University and the University of Wyoming. Maggie also worked at Montana State University, the U.S. GPO, Arizona State University, and Dalhousie University, Canada. Maggie earned an MPA from Arizona State University and MLS from the University of Arizona. This varied experience contributes to Maggie’s interest in library leadership and management.

Conference Proceedings and the Book of Abstracts will be published right after the Conference (both with ISBN and DOI).
In addition, a scientific book with selected full papers in English (not published in proceedings or elsewhere) will be submitted to a world-class publishing house and indexed in WOS/Scopus (upon acceptance).
