• Eat bottom dwelling invertebrates like whelks and horseshoe crabs as well as cannonball jellyfish

Agility

• Are generally slow swimmers but can reach speeds of up to 15 miles per hour

• Their hard shell and rough skin helps protect them from predators, they also have a strong jaw and can blend in with their surroundings

• They have spine-like projections in their mouth and throat called Papillae that allows them to eat jellyfish without getting stung
