The Nephi Farmer's Market began with a vision: to create a space where our community could come together to support local growers, makers, and small businesses. What started as an idea discussed around kitchen tables and in late-night planning meetings quickly turned into a grassroots effort led by volunteers who care deeply about Nephi’s future.
In 2024, a small but dedicated team of locals; including Terry Cook, Linda Steele, Jacque Thorn and a handful of passionate community members; began laying the groundwork. With support from Greater Nephi Chamber of Commerce, Nephi City and countless hours of planning, the market officially launched in the summer of 2024. The Nephi Farmer's Market now continues with not only the wonderful support of the city but also the community. We hope that it continues to become a Saturday tradition at Nephi City Park, welcoming visitors, families, and vendors from all around Juab County.
Terry Cook and Linda Steele not only helped bring the market to life, but they also participate as vendors themselves. Their commitment to the market goes beyond planning; they show up each week with their own goods and passion, helping set the tone for what it means to support local in every sense.
Our goals are simple but meaningful. We aim to provide a reliable space for farmers, ranchers, home growers, and small businesses to sell their goods. We want to encourage healthy living by giving our community access to fresh, local food and handcrafted merchandise. We strive to strengthen connections between neighbors through shared experiences, music, movement, and creativity. We’re here to help small-scale producers test, grow, and sustain their businesses. Most of all, we celebrate the unique talent, culture, and charm of our local area.
The Nephi Farmer's Market is run by people who believe in the power of community. We are always listening, learning, and working to improve. Whether you're here to shop, perform, teach a class, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, you're a part of something special.
Thank you for helping us build a market that feels like home.
