We are here to help our students and families with any obstacles that may inhibit a child from reaching their full potential. FRYSC helps to provide parents with the resources they may need during difficult times. We also offer programs to help encourage a love of reading and family togetherness. And last but not least, we assist our teachers with any assistance we can provide in the classroom.

About Jessica:
I was born and raised in Southern Indiana. I have three amazing kiddos: Jase-14, Jocelyn-12, and Jolene-7. I moved to Kentucky in 2011, where I have worked in Social Services, assisting families and providing therapy services. I have been working with families and children for the past 20 years. One of my many passions is working with elementary-aged kiddos. My family and I enjoy spending time at the lake and the ocean and traveling to visit our extended family.

About Halle:
I was born and raised in Bardstown, Kentucky. I graduated from Spalding University in 2025 with my Bachelor’s in Social Work and played on the volleyball team! I will graduate with my Master’s in Social Work in December 2026 from UofL. I played volleyball for 10 years, have now been coaching for 5 years with RHVC, a travel team in Shepherdsville, and am starting a new JV coaching position at Nelson County High School. I have always had a passion for working with students and families and am so excited to be here!

Back To School Bash
FRYSC Nelson County Wide:
Date: July 25, 2026 Time: 11am - 2pm
Location: Southeast Christian Church
FRYSC teamed up with Bardstown FRYSC and numerous community partners to host a Nelson County-wide back to school Bash. Families were able to come and gather household items, along with school supplies for the 26-27 school year. FRYSC has been hosting this event for 5 years now. Be on the look out for the 27-28 back to school bash coming August 2027.
