What is ACP?

Academic & Career Planning (ACP) is a process and a product to create a plan for all students in grades 6-12. Throughout that time each student will:

1. KNOW
2. EXPLORE
3. PLAN
4. GO!

As students go through the process they will grow in knowing what they are talented in, what they are interested in, and how they can enter their field of choice. An important part of the plan is knowing that as students grow and change, so can their interests and their ACP plan will do the same.

The product that is created is an ACP Portfolio that all students will complete during their senior year. This is the capstone of everything they learned about themselves and their future career throughout the process. This portfolio is created throughout all four years of high school and the items they create are taken with the student when they graduate as tools for their future.
