Advisory
What is advisory?
Students at Nekoosa High School participate in weekly advisory groups throughout their high school career. Students are in groups of 15-19 students in their same grade level and with the same advisor all four years. Groups meet every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for 30 minutes. Mondays and Tuesdays are used for homework help and grade checks, along with meetings for clubs and organizations. Thursday are spent going over ACP activities for the month and aid in the development of the student Portfolio. Fridays are spent team building in the advisory group.
