We will take notes on and discuss the decision-making process and terminology. Students will then take a speed test to gauge their assertiveness in making decisions. Students will examine case studies in groups to practice the decision-making process.
Students will gain an understanding of short and long term goals. Students will practice identifying their personal goals and turning them into SMART goals. Students will create a SMART goal kite to display in class. Students will role play helping guide others to write SMART goals.
Students will participate in group and partner communication activities to practice verbal and non-verbal communication.
