WE MADE IT!
This last week of school finds students taking one last exam over the second half of the novel Chinese Cinderella.
Students should also make sure they've completed all SGQ assignments - they may see me for times they can come to complete work outside of class, if needed.

"There's no such thing as beginning, middle, and end in life. Life is all middle."
- Me, and perhaps others
The year is about over, the 8th graders are off to high school, and summer awaits. As I jumped back in to the classroom and tried to guide your students on this portion of their journey I had a fair amount of trepidation. This year, even with all of its obstacles, has shown me why I became an educator in the first place.
Thank you for your grace and understanding as we've navigated my wife's health challenges. It's made the students' lives a bit harder, which I regret. But things look brighter now, and we are very hopeful that we can make this episode a distant memory. What I won't forget is how much support we received from students, parents, and colleagues.
As we push the kids to clean up their academic loose ends we will also loosen up and have a bit of fun here at the end. They've worked hard, and deserve it!

Tutoring: Tutoring, should anyone want it, will be by appointment only during the final week of school. Just email me at wkoepp@neisd.net and we'll find a time that works for your student.
EXPERIMENT. FAIL. LEARN. REPEAT.
As we head into the final week of school, our science research projects are coming to a close! Students have spent the past few weeks diving deep into the lives and discoveries of influential scientists, and the results have been truly impressive. From thoughtful presentations to creative models, their hard work and curiosity have been on full display.
This week, students will wrap up final touches and present their projects to the class. It’s been an exciting way to end the year—celebrating scientific innovation while showcasing the skills they’ve built all year long. I’m incredibly proud of their effort and growth. Here’s to a strong finish and a well-deserved summer break!
Tutoring is offered on Tuesdays; students can attend from 3:45-4:15.
Students are also welcomed to set up an appointment for a different time, if needed.
If you have any questions, you may email me at egonza10@neisd.net.
