This week we will be taking our reading STAAR, please make sure students are going through their STAAR packets. Eat a good breakfast and get some rest! I am confident that they will surpass all expectations!

7th grade math honors
We will be practicing and review for the 8th grade math STAAR TEST which is scheduled for April 22nd. Review questions will be on Aware using previous released questions. Review videos can be accessed on google classroom.

We have a busy week of STAAR testing and a new topic in body systems. We will begin this portion of the unit which will lead to early May dissections.
Tutoring hours are available by appointment only for before and after school and are offered during lunch MTWF.

This week we will end our discussion on WWI and start talking about the Roaring 20's. We will be doing a project over items that became everyday household appliances allowing many people to have more free time to go to the movies and change societal norms.

Students have put the final touches on their viturtal tour videos. We will be screening them at the end of this week. Students will also dive into our next unit on the history of Film and Cinema. Students will continue to hone their editing skills with different adobe premiere challenges.

ANIMATION! We will continue to work on our Pivot animations little by little! We are creating an animation in PIVOT animator, a program that allows you to animate a stick figure. The students have been playing with the program already and now they can get creative and create something they can show off to the class. LOTS OF FUN!
DRONE Club meets Monday during lunch.
