This week we will be beginning our STAAR countdown, we will be learning to analyze and comprehend various text genres to prepare for the STAAR test.

Last week we finished off our Oil unit by taking our Unit Exam. This week we will be starting our Hunger Unit. Texas History will focus on the role migrant workers play in the economy.

Students spent last week filming and recording voice overs for their Virtual Tour guide project. This week they are using Adobe Premiere to edit and put together their Virtual Tour videos. Once they have completed this project we will have a Film Festival to see how their hard work comes together. This will also act as the distribution stage and final stage of Production.

Robotics Club 

No More Meetings this school year

ANIMATION! Flipbooks! Students will use hand-drawn FRAME-BY- FRAME animations skills to create a Flipbook to tell a story. Bring 50 index cards rubberbanded together! We will start MONDAY!
