Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading The Diary of Anne Frank. Students will be developing a deeper understanding of historical events, empathy, and literary analysis. We will engage in critical thinking by discussing moral and ethical questions related to the book. Lastly, we will be making personal reflections to Anne's experiences, while recognizing the importance of tolerance and acceptance.

7th grade math honors
This week we will begin learning about personal finance. Students will work on understanding credit interest investments and vocabulary related to personal finance.
Algebra I
This week we will be solving quadratic functions by using the quadratic formula as well as other methods

Tuesday : 3:45 to 4:15pm
Make up work:
Monday and Thursday 7:45 to 8:15 am

This week the students will be finishing up their Oil CD Project and then we will be turning our attention to reforms movements in Texas.

Students have started a long form project that will span several weeks. Students are using their knowledge of each of the stages of production to create a Virtual Tour Video. They have chosen a city are researching all of the things to do and fun facts about the city to put into a creative 3 minute video.

The Fashion Unit is over! This week we will have a fun Illustrator project where we create household robots! What would you like a robot to do for you?! Clean the dishes? Mop the floor? Bring you food? The skies are the limit! I cannot wait to see what the kids come up with!
DRONE Club meets Monday during lunch.
