Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading The Diary of Anne Frank. Students will be developing a deeper understanding of historical events, empathy, and literary analysis. We will engage in critical thinking by discussing moral and ethical questions related to the book. Lastly, we will be making personal reflections to Anne's experiences, while recognizing the importance of tolerance and acceptance.

This week we will learn and practice finding the volume and surface area of cylinders and other 3d objects. March 17th is the end of this 9 weeks term.

We are continuing our energy movements in environments this week and getting hands on. We will have a brief overview quiz as well.

This week students will be finishing their unit on cattle, cotton, natives, buffalo soldiers, and Westward Expansion. This is a big unit so students will have a lot of notes. If they have been absent they are responsible to get those from Google Classroom and copy them into their notebook.

Students are still researching and learning about the stages of production. They will start creating and planning their first long form video project by the end of this week. There will also be a quiz over Stages of Prouction and Camera Angles and Editing.

No More Meetings this school year

The last week of February is upon us! We will finish the DATA T-shirt design and have our Fashion Show! It is going to be so much fun! Both of these cumulative projects will be test grades! Students will have LOTS of time in class to work on both, but it is up to them to MANAGE their time effectively.
