Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading The Diary of Anne Frank. Students will be developing a deeper understanding of historical events, empathy, and literary analysis. We will engage in critical thinking by discussing moral and ethical questions related to the book. Lastly, we will be making personal reflections to Anne's experiences, while recognizing the importance of tolerance and acceptance.

7th grade math honors
This week we will continue finding the volume of 3d objects and we will explore how the formulas are found in terms of the base.
50 % of students are turning in work appropriately and 80% are scoring well on assessments.
Algebra I
This week we will begin solving quadratic functions to include by factoring and then by the quadratic formula.
90% of students have been turning work appropriately and scoring well on assessments. STAAR interim scores 94% mastered. 100 % meets.
TUTORING
Tuesday : 3:45 to 4:15pm
Make up work:
Monday and Thursday 7:45 to 8:15 am

We are soaring into our new unit! We are looking forward to learning all about our organisms and environments. We will begin by exploring how energy moves through our environment.
Tutoring hours are available by appointment only for before and after school and are offered during lunch MTWF.

Honors Texas History
Honors Texas History
This week students will be finishing their unit on cattle, cotton, natives, buffalo soldiers, and Westward Expansion. This is a big unit so students will have a lot of notes. If they have been absent they are responsible to get those from Google Classroom and copy them into their notebook.

Moving on up! As we finish FASHION we are learning new tools in Adobe Illustrator! The next week will be busy with tools of Illustrator and preparing for a fashion show! Lots of FUN in AV Comm.
