DATA 7th Grade Newsletter

This week we will continue reading The Diary of Anne Frank. Students will be developing a deeper understanding of historical events, empathy, and literary analysis. We will engage in critical thinking by discussing moral and ethical questions related to the book. Lastly, we will be making personal reflections to Anne's experiences, while recognizing the importance of tolerance and acceptance.

This week students will be learning about cattle drives, cotton, and railroads. We will analyze the economic, political, geographic, and social impact on Texas.

This week students are getting hands on learning in Video Production. They used the cameras to film their Four Shot Films, this week they will be using Adobe Premiere to edit them together. We will have a film festival to watch their creations to end our week in Digital Media.

This week students will continue learning about Fashion! We will complete some fun assignments and students will have to think critically about elements and principles of Fashion Design. Please go through your closets and donate any clothes you do not use or would like to donate. We will start preparing for our fashion show.
